It’s been a year since I migrated to Android OS with HTC Dream. For a year I have been installing/uninstalling the apps from the Market and now More Cowbell brought to you some of my top 10 recommendation apps for Android
1. Gapps
It will be shame not to mention the core, out of the box apps provided by Google, the Gapps it self: GMail, Contacts, and Calendars. If you new to Android, you can use Contact on your Gmail to store all your phonebook contacs. Once connected it will sync your contacts.
GMail is the primary apps, it is use to activated your phone and now it will push your mail to your android phone. Not the best client but it will keep you updated.
Google Calendar now is on your phone, if you use google calendar extensively like me, you will find it useful enough.
2. SMSBackup
How about this, backup all your sms online thru GMail? How cool is that. Simple apps, install and configure your username and password, it will automatically backup all your sms to your GMail account via Labels.
