    [Ask] How to implement personal hotspot?

    Dear Lazyweb,

    I am trying to implement a personal hotspot that covers some of my neighbourhood area. I have search google and found intersting links that caught my eyes.

    Solutions 1.

    Use a used PC (proly PIII) with added NIC, and install m0n0wall . It has a nice features of Captive Portal. but a PC is too bulky. I have found a SBC kit (Alix.2C3 Kit) that perfectly fit my project but, maybe too expensive? Does it sell in Malaysia?, I would like to buy it directly.

    Solutions 2.

    Buy a Linksys WRT54G and flashed it to DD-WRT or OpenWRT with FreeRadius/ezRadius features.
