URL Services tr.im discontinuing it services
yeap. You heard it right, tr.im one of the hundred url shortener service in now in the process of discontinuing service, effective immediately. Now if you click on the link above, there is just a static page news. 
With so many url shortener services, this bound to happen to at least (or many) of them. Well everybody with some knowledge of web programming does know how to write a simple url shortener services. I agree with the post that there is no way of making money from this services. Luckily bit.ly now is partnering with twitter as their default url services, but still bit.ly can get money from it because, twitter is forbidding bit.ly to advertise ads on their services. Only to digest data from it. Any other url shortener services you know that is closing down soon?
